Asset Management Services
Optimum asset utilization and performance
Our asset management services ensure optimum equipment and tool utilization, while maintaining industry safety and regulatory compliance. Our experienced personnel manage, maintain, upgrade and lengthen the reliable life of customers’ assets. This includes support for FMC Technologies-supplied as well as customer-owned equipment and tools. FMC Technologies has invested in one of the largest inventories of subsea completion and workover rental tool fleets in the industry.
Additionally, our Condition and Performance Monitoring (CPM) system can provide real-time data to determine the integrity of subsea systems and equipment, enabling proactive and condition-based maintenance and avoiding costly unplanned repairs.

Production Optimization
Data-driven reservoir productivity
FMC Technologies helps operators maximize the performance of subsea production systems using a suite of flow assurance services, real-time surveillance, predictive analytics and flow modeling software.
During early-phase planning, flow assurance experts help optimize the field architecture and define flow assurance strategies through field studies and simulations. Our FlowManager™ software provides accurate production and injection flow rates, and advice for optimal choke setting and well routing. Once in the operation phase, the software can easily be expanded to include real-time field monitoring for potential flow assurance issues, and be complemented by an FMC Technologies’ operation support center, which provides expert analysis and advice 24/7.
FlowManager™ has been used since 1995 and is currently operating on 450 wells distributed on 20 fields worldwide. Our operation support center is monitoring 1.2 M barrels of oil and 200 millions standard cubic meters of gas per day, which is equivalent to 60 percent of Norway‘s total oil production.

Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR)

Over the course of a field’s life, equipment must be maintained, exchanged or adjusted as a result of wear or increased safety and regulatory requirements. FMC Technologies places the highest importance on safety, efficiency and reliability while performing IMR. Typical operations are inspection, maintenance and repair of control and instrumentation modules, chokes, flow modules, tie-in and connections, and processing equipment.
We can take on the coordination of vessel, technicians and tools to deliver a complete and more efficient IMR project.
