FMC Technologies’ Fluid Control division approaches well service pump development with the goal of providing new technology that will give our customers a competitive edge in their pumping operations.
With experience and know-how in manufacturing, our well service pumps are built for today‘s harsh pumping applications, such as fracturing, acidizing and matrix stimulation.
FMC hydraulic fracturing pumps provide more power down hole with a 10 inch stroke and are capable of delivering flow rates up to 50 barrels per minute at pressures up to 20,000 psi. Our quintuplex pump is rated at 3,000 BHP with a 250,000 pound rod load.
Our 10 inch stroke power end is a rugged solution that will deliver a reduced total life cycle cost to your operation.
Key Features
•Unique patented suction valve retainer is easier to install and maintain.
•10 inch stroke and higher rod load capacity provides increased fluid pumping volume. Additionally, durability could also be increased by providing an equivalent pumping volume at a slower speed than a shorter stroke.
•Unique patented connecting rod/crosshead knuckle joint maximizes bearing area, resulting in high durability in high rod load applications.
•To improve lubrication, special design attention was given to power end lubrication. The crosshead/connecting rod is lubricated from two sides.
•Independent stuffing boxes allow some flexibility in running different plunger sizes in the same fluid cylinder.
•The tie rod design eliminates the problems of conventional stay rods and reduces power end structural failures.
•Every pump is factory tested at full horsepower and rod load prior to shipment.
•Service support is provided by Fluid Control Services.
GeoPro Fluid End
FMC Technologies’ new GeoPro fluid end provides consistent durability proven in harsh frac environments. The GeoPro will improve productivity and your bottom line by limiting down time and easing the frustrations related to keeping pumps up and running.
