When you need the kind of information only coring can provide, call Allied-Horizontal. We now offer the first rotary sidewall coring tool to be powered by electric motor, reducing the risk of hydraulic failure and loss of the cores. Integrating telemetry/Gamma and tool electronics in a single assembly provides a shorter tool length without compromising coring capacity. Capable of cutting and retrieving up to 50 large-diameter core plugs in a single run, Allied-Horizontal’s Rotary Coring Tool (RCT) is available with core diameters up to 1.5 inches. Providing the reliability of rotary coring, the RCT recovers a greater volume of undisturbed formation for testing, faster and at lower cost than other systems.
Adjustable Core Bit Diameter (up to 1.5”)
Integrated Gamma and Telemetry
Low Surface Voltage Requirement (< 600v)
Self-Contained Surface Interface
