Reservoir Conditions High Frequency NMR (ResCon HF NMR)
The Reservoir Conditions High Frequency NMR system developed by Core Laboratories is designed to easily and effectively collect data for the measurement of permeability, capillary pressure and oil/water and gas/water contents of plug samples under reservoir conditions and is ideal for unconventional reservoirs. NMR data is recorded with a high level of precision using custom Core Lab software. Either 1 inch or 1.5 inch diameter samples can be used in the unique Core Lab Instruments core holder that incorporates a proprietary NMR coil.

Benefits:

NMR T2 distribution provides insight into pore size distribution.
Non-destructive, quick turnaround screening tool.
Good correlation between NMR Total Porosity and Effective Permeability to Oil at residual water saturation.
