We offer a state of the art Gasometer for the measurement of the produced gas in a core flooding experiment or in a PVT application. The instrument is provided with user friendly software for the measurement and data collection of the produced gas as a function of time. The instrument is provided with an RS232 serial interface for easy installation into existing applications.
The gasometer is easily connected to the process application. As the gas enters the gasometer, a piston is displaced in the measurement cylinder. The piston position, pressure and temperature of the gas are measured continuously. From this information, the gas volume produced is measured and then converted to standard operating conditions. When the piston reaches the end of the measurement cylinder, the electrical valves are automatically switched, and the piston can now be displaced in the opposite direction. This directional change allows for continuous operation and unlimited sample volume measurement.
