NANOK-100 Nano Permeameter is a digital, steady state gas permeameter system for testing plug size core samples and is configured for 3-point "Klinkenberg" measurements on ultra low permeability rock samples.
The NANOK-100 is designed to measure "Klinkenberg" permeability on ultra-low permeability samples. The NANOK-100 incorporates two hydrostatic core holders. Downstream calibrated capillary tubes or an automated low flow gas meter allow measurements of gas flow rates down to 6.7 10-10 cc per second with upstream pressure monitored by a high accuracy digital pressure transducer.
The system uses nitrogen or methane as the flowing gas thus allowing the investigation of permeability with various flowing gases. Because of the low flow rates, inertial effects are minimized.
