The Reservoir Group Pick-Up/ Bulldog Overshot has been designed for the retrieval of fish with a large outside diameter
It is often the only available method of retrieving such fish, and the design is simple and robust. The Overshot is fitted with a ‘C’ Grapple which is located in a tapered bowl to provide the required clamping force.
The tool is operated by running the Overshot over the fish neck. As the tool is picked up, the Grapple compresses around the fish neck and the assembly is pulled out of hole to surface. Once engaged, the tool cannot be released.
