Reservoir Group Well Intervention Products & Services’ Coiled Tubing Double-Ended Selective Shifting Tool is designed for opening and closing sliding sleeves.
The DESST shifting keys are normally retracted during the running operation and are hydraulically flow-activated to the open shift position by increasing pump rates and therefore pressure at the down-hole location of the DESST & SSD. The DESST can selectively open or close multiple SSDs in a single Coiled Tubing run.
