Requiring only an air supply, the Mini Tong can be safely and efficiently operated by one person, and is powered via its’ own pneumatically-powered Hydraulic Power Pack.
The Mini Tong is a self-contained, free-standing, hydraulically-powered unit designed for fast and accurate make-up/ break-out of threaded connections on tools, tubular goods and related equipment, ranging in size from 1-11/16” – 3-1/2” OD.
The Mini Tong operates at a low working pressure (3,000 PSI MAX) which eliminates the need for high pressure hoses and fittings. Standard tong dies and standard lip-type seals are used in all cylinders to facilitate procurement and easy replacement.
