Drop spool system
The use, and major advantage, of the Drop Spool is to deploy systems for temporary monitoring in either space constrained or hard to access locations as well as an economic alternative to other deployment vehicles.

Reservoir Group Oil & Gas’s newest deployment addition, is our portable Drop Spool. The use, and major advantage, of the Drop Spool is to deploy systems for temporary monitoring in either space constrained or hard to access locations as well as an economic alternative to other deployment vehicles. (Slickline, E Line etc).

The Drop Spool System is a temporary, data on demand, real-time monitoring system that is self-contained with solar power, satellite communication (real time web site viewing) and data storage. Reservoir Group utilises proprietary 0.125” Downhole Instrument Cable (TEC), proven permanent gauge assemblies, Surface Pressure Control Equipment, and DINLine electronics. (Designed and manufactured by Reservoir Group)

A Permanent Gauge Assembly is suspended in vertical wells with either tubing or casing on the Downhole Instrumentation Cable (TEC)
The data is communicated in real-time to surface, stored then transmitted to a web site every 6 hours, or on demand, for analyzing
Downhole and Surface Pressure and Temperature with as fast as 2 second sample interval rates
Customizable set points and web site alarms
Once deployed, our self-contained skid unit is left on location
Optional 1,000,000 data point downhole Memory Tool back up
