Stabil Drill’s Shock Subs are designed to provide an improved rate of penetration and to minimize axial vibrations produced by the drill bit during drilling operations. The tool will absorb shock load on the drill string and drill bit. Stabil Drill’s Shock Subs also have a heavy duty design based on a wide range of operating experience, and they can drill in any condition, whether soft, medium or hard formation.
The Shock Subs are built with Key Belleville springs, brass and molly guard wear rings, Teflon Backups and Nitrile seals in high temperature conditions. The Shock tools also reduce vibrations utilizing a series of springs and they can be equipped with light, medium or heavy weight springs to accommodate various drilling conditions.
