With more than 40 years of response expertise, Wild Well’s environmental management services deliver industry-wide pollution control solutions from wellbore to pipeline to well storage to commodity transportation. Our comprehensive environmental advisory approach encompasses prevention, mitigation, and recovery stewardship to deliver environmental restoration and effective cost control in the event of a pollution incident.
An immediate response to a pollution incident is critical for successful minimization of its effects. Putting personnel on the ground for an immediate assessment of the damage and to begin containment protocols requires a two-pronged approach. This is accomplished by deploying both a well control emergency response team and the Environmental Services team simultaneously to the scene of an incident.
Bringing a well back under control and dealing with any pollution issues can be costly, but by deploying both a well control team and a pollution response team immediately upon notification, Wild Well can normally avoid a multimillion-dollar loss for the operator. In addition to dealing with initial pollution containment, Wild Well can also work with the assured state and federal regulators and loss adjusters on any long-term remediation that might be required.
Beyond a rapid response to pollution-related incidents, the Environmental Services team provides a proactive pollution control and mitigation program designed to promote early intervention for the minimization of the environmental impact caused by a well control event. As part of the prevention program, pre-event counseling coupled with contingency planning places operators on a path to successful containment, if an event should occur. Expert pollution response training and validation exercises to assess readiness and competency provide a well-rounded prevention package.
