The Connection Analyzer™ is used to evaluate the connection's capacity to carry combined torsional and tensile loads.
It provides three failure modes:
Pin Yield due to torque and tension
Box Yield due to excess torque
Shoulder Separation due to tension and inadequate make-up torque
The Connection Analyzer includes torsional Yield, Make-up Torque and Pin Neck Tensile Capacity calculations. A connection combined load curve is generated for the specific connection.
