VIBROGLIDE
REDUCES TORQUE AND DRAG
The VibroGLIDE tools are a derivative of the highly successful field proven EzeeGLIDER® with the added feature of the cam teeth on the centralizer and the cam profiles on the heavy duty stop collars. These features have been tested for wear with applied loads and provide continuous vibration while rotating the casing for extended periods in excess of most casing/liner deployment operations. Whether it be vertical, horizontal or ERD wells, cased or open hole applications, or weak formations, Rubicon’s broad selection of centralizers are playing a key role in reducing torque and drag and reaching planned TD.

MAKING IT BETTER
The VibroGLIDE acts as a casing deployed version of a drill pipe vibration tool used to reduce sliding friction while drilling.
Vibrations and composite material provide a significant reduction in axial friction. (these customer benefits are what separates the VibroGLIDE from the RotoGLIDE). The VibroGLIDE rides over ledges and its short design does not stiffen the string. The VibroGLIDE turns easily around high dog leg severity, toughness and abrasion resistance to address high side forces. The VibroGLIDE offers greater than normal reduction in drag which reduces helical buckling. On high step out wells, the current well construction boundaries are extended. Should casing or completion fail to reach TD, low drag aids are removed from the wellbore. The VibroGLIDE is lightweight, which improves manual handling, is low on start up torque and assists passage through casing exits and multilateral junctions.
