TYPE 335 - WELDED DOUBLE BOW CENTRALIZER IS BEST SUITED FOR HIGHLY DEVIATED AND HORIZONTAL APPLICATIONS.
The design of the spring allows the centralizer to center the casing in open hole, under and over gauge hole conditions. This centralizer is not designed to lace over couplings. The Welded Double Bow Centralizer provides higher restoring force while minimizing starting and running forces as compared to the standard bow spring.

The upset in the center of the spring is designed to contact the casing when the bow spring has been deflected from 90% to 75% stand-off (10% - 25% deflection).
As bow upset contacts the casing, the restoring force exerted increases dramatically.
