HIGH PRESSURE LATCH DOWN CEMENTING PLUGS
TOP-CO PRODUCTS' CEMENTING PLUGS ARE USED DURING CEMENTING OPERATIONS FOR WIPING THE CASING ID CLEAN OF DRILLING FLUIDS AND PROVIDING SEPARATION BETWEEN MUD, SPACERS, AND CEMENT.
They also prevent over displacement of the cement slurry and indicate when the cementing job is complete. All plugs are designed to fit in conventional cementing heads.
MAKING IT BETTER
Cementing plugs designed and tested for superior performance.
The Type 779 HP Bottom latch-down plug, when used with a Type 778 HP latch-down plug and a latch down valve cap receptacle, completes an HP (10,000 psi Bump pressure) double latch down plug system. The system ensures a positive pressure seal upon bumping and a latch to prevent plug back-off due to pressure from below. The Type 779, when coupled with a Type 778 also assists in holding limited back pressure in case of float failure.
