THE TOP DRIVE TESTING HEAD ASSEMBLY IS INSTALLED ON THE TOP JOINT OF DRILL PIPE AT SURFACE TO PROVIDE A FLOW CONTROL DEVICE WHICH ALLOWS OPERATORS TO SAFELY CONDUCT DRILLSTEM TESTS.
The pneumatic or hydraulic actuated ball valve provides a spring close fail safe. It is with a Swivel Assembly. Optional equipment is a Bar Drop Sub, Master Ball Valve Assembly, Remote Control Valve Assembly, and a Lift Nipple. The Testing Head is manufactured to NACE MR01-75 Specifications.
