Core plugging at the wellsite can be very important in delivering specific data requirements for your reservoir. This is especially true if tracer has been added to the mud system for quantifying any materials. Remaining fluids that have not been expelled during POOH (pull out of hole) will tend to relax through divusivity and gravimetrically in the poor structure. It is important to take plug samples within the first 24 hours after the core has arrived on surface in order to isolate the center section of core for accurate invasion analysis data. Our expert wellsite team will cut the plugs in a non-invading medium and preserve each sample with wax to deliver plugs for analysis that will help yield highly accurate reservoir data.
