The Equalising Balldrop Sub (EBS) serves as a temporary barrier when assembled to an appropriate Packer and will hold 345 bar (5,000 psi) differential pressure with a barrier plug/valve mounted below.
The EBS has been tested and qualified in accordance with the ISO 14310 international standard validation grade V0 4-100?C and 345 bar (5,000 psi) differential pressure.

•Opens at a predetermined differential pressure level after a ball is dropped, enabling remote equalisation and production / injection
•Can also open when run with a closed valve underneath
