Cement - Dispersants
Cement-slurry-flow properties are complicated and do not exemplify the fluidity of ideal Newtonian fluid behavior. The thinning effects of dispersants can help modify slurry rheology for easier mixing and placement. Rheology is a measure of both the resistance to flow and a reduction in the resistance to flow under pressure. Adding dispersants can lower friction and lower pressure during pumping, enhance turbulent flow at reduced pumping rates, and allow operators to mix densified cement slurries. Dispersants can also be used to help reduce pressure exerted when placing cement across unconsolidated sands, depleted or weak formations, possibly preventing lost circulation.



CFR-3™ Cement Friction Reducer
A cement friction-reducing additive that reduces apparent viscosity and improves the rheological properties of cement slurries which is compatible with saturated salt solutions and temperatures greater than 60°F (15.6°C).

CFR-4™ Cement Friction Reducer
A cement friction reducer that directly replaces CFR-2 (Blue Label) reducer which helps reduce apparent viscosity, improve rheological properties, improves fluid-loss control to an extent, and slightly retards cement for use in wells above 60°F (15.6°C).

CFR-6™ Cement Friction Reducer
A cement friction reducer that directly replaces CFR-2 (Blue Label) reducer which helps reduce apparent viscosity, improve rheological properties, improves fluid-loss control to an extent, and slightly retards cement for use in wells above 60°F (15.6°C).

CFR-8™ Cement Friction Reducer
Cement Friction Reducer – An environmentally acceptable cement friction-reducing additive that reduces apparent viscosity and improves the rheological properties of cement slurries which is compatible with saturated salt solutions and temperatures greater than 60°F (15.6°C).
