Slurry performance can be enhanced with additives that control free water and prevent solids from settling. Free water and suspension additives can help particles and solids in the slurry to remain suspended. They also help overcome the potential for fluid to develop at the top of a slurry column or on the high side of deviations in a highly deviated well or a horizontal wellbore.
FWCA™ / WG-17™ Additive
Used to prevent solids from settling, control free water, mildly retard slurries, and increase slurry viscosity which is effective from 130°F (54.4°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
SA-541™ Control Agent
A suspending aid and free-water-control agent that yields at temperatures greater than 150 °F to suspend downhole solids which is effective up to 350°F (176.7°C).
Suspend HT™ Additive
A suspending aid and free-water-control agent that yields at high temperatures to suspend downhole solids which is effective from 250°F (121.1°C) to 350°F (176.7°C).
