JB Well Solutions was founded by Gisle Ødemotland and Jan Narve Bakken in December 2010. The company is a private held company, owned by founders and employees. There is no external investors or owners. JB Well Solutions long term commitment is to be a global supplier of equipment and services to oil & gas industry. Our main product portfolio is diesel driven equipment for use in hazardous areas.

In May 2014 JBWS purchased the company Drilling Support Systems AS (formerly Axon Norway AS and Hitec Products Drilling AS) including the associated IP rights and inventories

The purpose of the acquisition was to offer Drilling Support System existing customer portfolio support on the delivered product as well as offer our own products and services to these customers in the future. Drilling Support System had since 2008 been controlled by the Private Equity company Hitec Vision (www.hitecvision.com).

JB Well Solutions strategy for the coming years will be to expand in regional markets and support our customers and products where they are operating.
